Rules & Regulations
KSCA/G0102/2627/DTournament conducted as per FIDE (international) rules, Swiss pairing system.
Number of rounds decided based on number of participants.
Children play separately in their age category; may opt to play Open or a higher category if they wish.
Time control: 20 min + 5 sec increment. Walkover: 10 min. If timers run short, players will be given a timer with reduced time.
Phones, electronic watches, and any electronic devices are not allowed on the premises during play.
Protests against the arbiter's decision must be filed in writing with a ₹1,000 fee within 10 minutes of the incident; fee is refunded if the appeal is upheld.
Players eligible for more than one prize receive only the higher-value prize.
Free lunch provided for all players.
Reporting time 8:30 AM. Inauguration & players' meeting at 9:00 AM. First round starts sharp at 9:30 AM.
Arbiter's and committee's decision is final.
Valid Aadhaar card mandatory for player identification.
Valid KSCA ID is mandatory for all participants.
Entry fee once paid is non-refundable and non-transferable.
